I wanted to make sure y'all over here in AFVs didn't miss this if you're building German half-tracks

I notice from the pictures of the figures that they have no belts or Y straps . Where as the box art shows belts with ammo pouches . Guess a little bit of scratch work will be needed to make them a crew in combat . May throw a few modelers off buying the set . Me for one , I never seem to have any luck using very thin sheet styrene or PE for belts etc . Aside from that nice looking figures

If anyone does decide to add the belts,etc.,be advised that German arty crews only had one set of ammo pouches on their belts,usually only on their left side. The right side was empty or had a gunners pouchpeculiar to this branch of service. HTH

The photographic evidence I have in my possession seems to indicate most of the time, crews did not wear anything more than the standard leather waist belt.

This looks like the set that came with their Famo.

Cary, I think you might be confusing Tamiya's Sd.Kfz.9 (so-called "FAMO") with Dragon. DML hasn't put out a 9 in 1/35th scale, and the Tamiya crew is, well, technology from a different era. There's no comparison in detail, molding, etc.

A belt at the waist should have been included IMO . We could add as much or little equipment to each figure as we want .I think they might look good crewing a 251 HT or sitting on benches in the back of a Opel truck , around a field kitchen , etc. . Be nice to have webbing if used as Infantry

OK this has me interested but its not for a Famo ..only ever one Famo was built as a artillery based crew carrier ,,that is more than likey the SDKFZ-7 or SDKFZ- 8 12 tonner ...but who cares they will be many times better than Tamyia's offerings ..ya i think they will have to be added to the pile for sure .
