Hi Gang,i`ve been doing some research into the above train as i`ve bought about half of the train from Trumpeter (the sheer size and cost - about £400 GBP precluded doing the whole thing !) and i was wondering if anyone out there has built/building the beast themselves.
My own build has stalled on the starting blocks because i`ve realised that i`ve got nowhere to put the finished model, but i`m left wondering if anyone has started theirs and would be willing to post pictures.

Hi Danny .. I will be building the entire armoured train for a friend of mine and yes your right about the price ..it will cost him a little over 1000 NZ bucks for the whole thing ..the best way to mount this is a shelf on the wall .its only about 7ins/177mm wide but its gonna be long lol and not that heavy ..best way i can think of mounting this beast ...no build pics yest he's only just started to buy the engine and all the wagons
Check on the net matey ..there will be plenty of pics on there of there kits .

I guess I’ve spent close to 3 grand or more on my Railroad Station. I started out with one of the SSys flat car from DML and a Railroad Station from Custom Dioramics and look at it now. I need a bigger house!!!!!!
