The Bronco Archer just cries out for a crew, and Bronco have just obliged in a 17 pdr crew...

The question I have is what uniforms would these guys have had working an Archer or a Bishop? Standard infantry issue from pictures I see, but I can't get a definate on that...

Anybody out there with an answer?

Thanks,

Harald

Hi Harald,

There isn't a definate answer . The Bishop was use in N AFrica and Italy, so desert uniforms, KD shorts & shirts, but if it was winter then they could have been wearing KD & Greatcaost or BD or part of both.

Same detail for the Archer, it was used in NWE, depending on the season would depend on what the crew were wearing, as it was an open topped vehicle I have seen the crews in DB, shirt sleev order and also Pixie suits.

Choose the location and season and go from there.

Hope that helps.

That helps...and confirms what I can find googling. Creativity will rule in that case;-)

Thanks,
