Hi All,
No, not ideas on how to airbrush.
But a question about the tip (jet?)
I have an old Sealey airbrush, it's been my faithful 'detail and thin line' painting beast since the beginning and I'm happy using it.
The trouble is...
Well, I store the tip in an old Tamiya paint jar with some thinners, and, me being a silly old bleeder who should know better and have demanded that other people in my household not touch it at all. Ever. Never Ever.
Has thrown it out
Can anyone tell me where I might get a replacement or if another manufacturer's AB tip would fit?
I can't afford to buy a new AB at the moment so I'm hoping for a cheap (and quickish) fix.
TIA from a desperate modeler
Tom

Thanks Dave,
I've already done that.
This post is just a little insurance in case Sealey is a no-no

Hello,
I don't know which model of airbrush you have; however if it is the same as one of those listed at Sealey's, it is actually a Chinese airbrush, you can find at many dealers under many labels. Original producer is Fengda. Here in Hungary a spare tip is about 5,50 EUR.

If the Sealey is a no go, I have a couple of extra fine line airbrushes taking up space. For $5USD plus shipping, I will send you one.

Hi Tom
Does your AB look like one of them?
http://airbrushtips.110mb.com/Master%20G22%20Airbrush.html
Does your nozzle look, like this?
If yes, Gŕbor is right, actually is a re-labeled Fengda AB
You can find spare parts in a lot of sites

Thanks all,
I've managed to track down the nozzle, strangely enough from Sealey.
I was a little confused because I couldn't find them listed in their catalogue, but an e:mail, and a very helpful sales team, later all was rectified.
Matt, thanks for the kind offer but I'll stick with what I've got.
Spider, my AB is a Sealey model AB932.
As I've said old and somewhat heavy but I'm used to it and I like the weighty feel.
Again, thanks for the concern

It is a good AB if you can live with vacuum feed. Originally it is called Fengda BD-128 to find if Sealey's happen to run out of spares later.
