I have had my eye on the Karl Morser for along time. My LHS has the Trumpeter Karl Morser kit #0209 on for $70. Just wondering what everyone thought of this kit? Is it worth it? I noticed that Dragons Karl is no longer in their listing so it makes me wonder if they will be re-releasing this beast.
Thanks in advance

Brian,
I would say $70.00 is a great price for that kit. I have the cheaper kit# 219 without the railway carriers and I think its a great kit even though i didnt build it yet. But I do plan on building it in October for the Art Of the Battlefield campaign, and the review was excellent not much more you can say about it then that

Upon further inspection, the kit number is Trumpeter 215. Im struggling to decide whether I will have time to build this beast. Part of me also wonders if either DML or Trumpeter will release a new version. To buy or not to buy...
One question to those who built this sucker, did you guys use the tracks that came with the kit or did you replace the tracks? If you did replace the tracks, which did you use?

Well Christmas came early today. I stopped at the LHS and picked up the 1/35 Trumpeter Karl Morser kit 215 and a 1/35 Trumpeter Pzrkpfw IV Ausf F Fahrgestell for half off. Total was $104 CAD
