Robert S.: You're right about the age thing! I'm 58 and still on ops here in the M.E. ....just as a contractor now! There are a number of us, shall we say, more mature guys around here!

The Evolution figures seem to be more like what you see in photos 2001-2003, whereas the Legend ODA boys look more like 2006 OP Medusa (Peltor headsets, wearing helmets, more modern plate carriers, mix of DCU and ACU, etc) Maybe someone with a professional opinion can chime in here?
It does make one wonder, does it not?

So one company's going for OEF, one's on ISAF Kandahar time frame.. what makes me wonder is where the Pakol wearing figure is....
Either way, both crews are a welcome addition...and i'd like to see more to round out those 12 man ODAs.

Hmmm.. That might be tough. For Afghanistan, my ODA began with nine, and came back with seven. But don't worry, more are on the way.

Alex, i am sure any of the figures can be used as a medic. the only thing that would look different would mabe be a pouch with some medical shears, and the medical back park.
I just picked up the 2 legends ODA figures. Nice and cheap. I really need the Evolution figures for a dio i want to do soon.

Alex, the ODA warrant doesnt come with a pack. DML's US army special forces kit does. I have a couple if you want one.

In resin you can get back packs from Legends: US modern pack set 1 and 2, with 1 being Alice packs and 2 being Molle packs. They may need some reshaping to fit the figures though
Blackdog also sell US Molle packs, but these would also need the straps removed and added around the figures so they fit properly.
