Building a Sherman M4A3 105mm HVSS as IDF ?

Hi Gents,
I am looking at this kit the DML kit 6354



I was planning to build this as an IDF Sherman but have very limited information. I am asking if anyone can help or point me towards references.

The IDF did not use the M4A3 HVSS105MM Shermans as is. The M4 105MM Shermans they had were regunned with the 75MM, but these had VVS. If they did have any M4A3 HVSS 105MM they were converted to M50s. The old MP M50 kit turret was a 105MM turret converted to a M50 turret.

Thanks for the detailed reply Tony. I will think of something else for this kit - trying to find an alternative to WW2 !
