Hello everyone after short break. Lets back to AFV modeling. To warm-up my workshop I have started fast project - FAMO in 1/72 scale from Revell. It was build out of the box yesterdey. It took me only several hours. As you can see, I used Black Dog coversion for FAMO. The resin fits very well and doesn't make any problem.
Best,

Hi Mateusz,
You have done a clean and fine work assembling this little beast. The extra details sit very nicely and look impressive.
If you can put some crew inside it will make a wonderful display.
I have the same kit on my stash but I don't think I'll touch it for the next year since I recently built the Trumpeter model upgraded with PE kit.
Good work, good luck with painting.
P.A.

Hi matejson
Very good and clean build of the revell model.
I think the trumpeter kit is a little bit better than the revell kit.
But with the black dog stowage it´s very realistic.
You can make the handles by wire....it well look a little bit better and take the model up to a higher level.
Hope we cann see it next weeks in coler.
Cheers Daniel

@matejson - Mateusz,
Clean build! The 'black dog' accessory set really adds that lived in look to your build. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
Could you tell us a little about your setup (lighting, camera, background material used) for photographing your model?
Thanks for posting and sharing your build,
-Eddy

Small base is building in the meantime.
Sure, one or two figures will be.
Would you like to show me it???
Good idea, it will take short time I supposed.
No problem, I will find some more free time.
Thx for replies.

I had seen some black dog kit for 1:48 scale but not for 1:72. It is the problem when you make the model in scratch. Waiting the painting and weathering.
Congrats. Pedro.

In addition, I have made the handles using wire and Griffon Model bending tool.

Hi Mateusz
For a long time I had been just using tweezers to bend handles from wire, but I recently got a wire bending gadget similar to yours, and they do a great job. I think the extra time you took to do this has been well rewarded by the improved appearance of the handles on this model
cheers

love the build , looks great so far . I have used Black Dog sets on most of my 1/48 kits , looks like their 1/72 line is just as impressive , can't wait for the next photo.

@matejson - Mateusz,
Looks fantastic already and you haven't started the weathering yet! I agree with 'PanzerAlexander' that your rendition of color modulation turned out stunning and brings better focus to the details and all areas of the vehicle that normally get hidden by the monotone gray color. Also brings your eyes back to the stowage which by itself looks interesting enough already. Nice base. Will you be adding any figures?
Thanks for sharing, waiting to see more,
-Eddy
