Hello,
For my Panzer IV diorama, I bought myself the German tank crew at rest by Tamiya. ( http://pics.towerhobbies.com/image/t/tams2301.jpg ). There is a figure that is stepping on a step stool (like a Captain Morgan pose) My diorama is set in the middle of the Yugoslavian countryside, and and I was wondering if a tank crew would just have a step stool that they would take out of tier tank to use for whatever. I feel that it doesn't fit well in the setting of my diorama, since they are not at a field base. Thanks!

Why not. Look at most pics of vehicals and you will see an amassed amount of scavanged stuff for comforts. Soilders are famous for liberating anything not tied, weilded or bolted down that makes life easier for them.

In case of doubt, maybe you could replace it with an ammo crate ?

Bob, hat is a good point. I think I'll use it then. And Frenchy, I was going to do that, or use a Russian helmet, but I have neither of those and I dont feel like spending the cash for a tiny piece of plastic. Haha Thank you both for your help.
