Hi gents! Is this conversion useful for any actual Iraq or Afghanistan deployed Humvee? If so, what versions of it are suitable to have had this set installed?

I guess the Red Dot A/C unit would be OK for all the Humvee variants that are/were not fitted with built-in A/C ...like the M966, M998, M1025, M1045... Here are a few pics (OIF) :

Yes, these were used from late '03-early '04 to about mid-'05 on ASK (Armor Survivabilty Kit) armored HMMWVs. The kit provides armor panels for the body sides and floor, along with armored doors. They were fitted to standard, unarmored HMMWVs to give them some added protection until enough M1114s could be built and fielded. The Red Dot A/C unit was used to cool the vehicles off since the armored door windows were not able to be (nor desired to be) opened. They were seen all over Iraq at that time.
