Hi again all, long time no chat! I have a hankering to breed the Academy M10 and Italeri M36B1 together, along with some plastic surgery and augmentation, to do one of those wildly painted M36B2's from the civil wars of about ten years ago. Now, I have all the usual print references from Hunnicutt to Zaloga and more; and Hanno Spoelstra has a couple of pics on his site. Here's what I'm really after:
Detail shots of the rear end, good enough to hack plastic and build that extension for the Russian diesel.
Photos from angles above a specimen vehicle to decide what the engine deck looks like. I don't have a clue if there are more changes up there as a result of the engine swap.
And while I'm at it, anybody know about dimensions/drawings for that folding armor package to cover the open turret? It's different from the M10 package, as the turrets aren't the same shape.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
