he was even driving it,

The scout car you are referring to is the m3a1. I assume you are looking for a 1/35 kit and it is available from either Zvezda or Italeri, its the same kit.

Don't think that the White M3A1 Scout Car ever got a name, like Sherman or Stuart or Greyhound. I've always heard it referred to simply as the Scout Car. The one that Gunnie Ermey drove was pretty nice. There is also an immaculate example at the Oregon Military Museum in Clackamas, OR, along with a beautiful M20 6-wheeler and an M3A1 halftrack. All are available for inpection with a museum staffer, if you make an appointment. They don't let average Joe Visitor climb on the vehicles but polite and courteous vehicle geeks can! Last visit I was the only visitor around, and got the privilege of helping the curator re-mount the Ma Deuce on the scout car.
