Hi. I have a Tamiya Challenger tank that I built long time ago and would like to paint it now with dark olive green and black camouflage as recommended in the instruction sheet. Unfortunately, Tamiya does not offer this color so I have to mix it. Can I add black to olive green or what is a better option ? Any help is greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Thanh.

Is the "dark olive green" supposed to be a Tamiya color? You could try

Paint shades vary all the time. What I would suggest is to get a color photo of the camo scheme your interested in, then mix the color yourself.
To darken OD, I add a few drops at a time of flat black, then test it on a scrap piece of sheet plastic. Let it dry, as it will dry darker.
Close is good enough as you will be adding washes and filters over it, so the base color will change.

What is the XF # of the dark olive green you are talking about?
