i doing a diorama of a sherman goin to carentan and i was wonering if they used the radios on the back to talk to the tank crews like they did in the pacific theatre???????????????????????????????????? or yeah carentan is in the european theatre????????????????????????????????

It is quite possible that the external phone box was used, although not as many were used as compared with their Pacific counterparts.

i belive they were. in operation cobra i think the had external radios for the tanks crews to keep in tact with the infantrymen and vise versa. good luck hope that helps.
