Well, I decided it was time to get back to this project which I started exactly 2 years ago and share my progress with you.

This is Dragon's excellent Porsche Tiger Premium Edition built OOTB - doesn't need much more anyway.....

As mentioned in my old thread I'm adding the Zimmerit using water-soluble wood putty.

This is my progress so far:

Overview shot. Turret is almost complete and primed. Hull Zimm is done, fenders are on, suspension (working) is on and the PE is going on step by step.

2 shots of the Zimmerit on the front of the hull. I will not install the hull MG as the ref pics show it removed and I'll go along.

You may notice that the driver's periscopes are masked off with Maskol.

Turret shot (for the Zimm) and side shots showing Zimm and PE so far. I solder the PE before supergluing on.

I'm now working on the large grille screens.

First I folded the PE screen around its frame and soldered them down.

Finished screen.

Then i soldered on the support struts.

And i drilled location holes on the grille armored covers to glue them in place.

More to follow soon.

Small update.

Rear deck is all finished. Only thing left on hull is tow cables and tools with their assorted clamps and mounting brackets.

On the right hand side i've already marked the places where the PE brackets have to go on the Zimmerit using the kit's towing cable part as a guide.
