Hi. Has anyone using an airbrush with Vallejo gray primer ? I wonder what do you use to clean it up afterward. I put on a gray primer coat on an old Tamiya Challenger last night and i had a hard time cleaning up my airbrush. Thanks.
Thanh.

flush it with windex if you do not have the Vallejo primer, then with distilled water until it runs clear. Cheers.

I use dilluted Ammonia(with water), then a little Media airbrush cleaner. Then flush with water, no problem. I always dismantle my airbrush when finished for a thorough cleaning.

I have a Paasche H single external action air brush. And while it has some drawbacks compared to a duel action airbrush, one of them isn't cleaning it. I remove the cone and needle between color changes as well as the final clean up after a painting session, and clean both parts with Lacquer Thinner. Takes 2 min and I'm painting again. I've tried Windex with Ammonia, Iso Alcohol, and a few acrylic cleaners. None work as fast, nor do the same job as LC does.
