I am proposing a campaign for Canadian armor fans. It would include any armor used or build in Canada. This would be any time period. There has been a lot of great kits released, and time to take advantage of them.

Rules would be:

1. Armor must have been used by Canadian Military or build in Canada
2. Any time period, any scale.
3. Upload picture of un-started kit, some of building, and 3 of finished model.

Let me know what you think.

I was thinking a build from November 2011 to July 2012.

Oooooo! i really love the idea and like you say so many choices now. The only problem is I'm already committed to another campaign and i don't think i can juggle 2 plus life.
if i can offer a suggestion , maybe move the dates to 1feb 12 to 31 sep 12? like i say just a suggestion but i'd be able to do it then.

Soooo, basically the "True North Strong and Free" Campaign part 2?

If I have time, I'll definitely try to get an entry in, once you get a definite date

I've got another FGH Sherman and an M5A1 to build for a Groningen (April 1945) diorama, but like Ian I'd prefer a later time-frame because there are a lot of campaigns ending in December and new ones starting in January.

I would think the time frame could be flexible, lets see if we can get the support and see what happens, we can talk time frame then. I have a Trumpeter Cougar I have been itching to start, but maybe I will just go ahead, and hope the Grizzly will be out for the campaign.

Alot of the Canadian armor was either British or American during WW2, for example the M4 Sherman, Churchill, Universal Carrier, etc. There were also some variants build in Canada, like the RAM Tank, which was based on the M3 chassis. Since WW2, most of the equipment has been from American design, ie M113, Cougar, Grizzly, LAV3 and the main battle tanks have been the German Leopard designs.

Hope that gives you some ideas.

I'd like to build a Canadian M4A4 with wading trunks. Anyone know of any pictures of such a beast? Could be a either a 75mm or a Firefly.
