Does anyone know of a good web site that shows and discusses the equipment, German and captured, that was used by the German Engineers during WWII? I have been looking and I haven't found anything of any use to me. So I am turning to all of you experts and I am asking for your help please. Anything and everything would be of help.
Thank you very much.
Randy

Ola Randy
There is a book called Deutsche Pioniere im Einsatz 1939/1945 from Dorfler Publishing
http://www.amazon.de/Deutsche-Pioniere-Einsatz-1939-Chronik/dp/389555040X I don't have this particular book but I have several others from these publications and they are well worth it. Loads and loads of pictures.

Hi Robert,
I have a couple of colour photos taken of a German chainsaw that is ww2 vintage, unfortunately they are hard copies & I don't have a scanner. But to give you an idea they are about 6ft long are a two machine, if you used the engine parts & muffler off a German bike combo you can build the motor then just need to make the chain. If in the us of a they sell the stihl brand of chainsaw you maybe able to get pictures from them, I was lucky enough that the supplier back home in New
Zealand actually had one that had been a showroom piece so was able to take a few pictures 10 odd yrs ago.
Hope this helps
Mike
