Yesterday on my way to the thriving metropolis of Hunsville Al , I saw setting on the southbound side of I-65 a trac/trlr rig with an M1A2S sitting probably brokedown. How do I know it was an "S" you may be asking! Because in a forest green strip on the front fender/sandskirt in BIG white letters it said M1A2S!!!
All I have been able to find is that it has something to do with Saudi Arabia. Do any of you fine folks have any details about this type? BTW, since it was southbound My GUESS is that it was either going to the rebuild plant at Anniston or to the gulf for shipment. Any info would be great,
Tanks.. er Thanks TT

From what I have read, the program pretty much upgrades the Suadi M1A1 and M1A2 fleets to M1A2 SEP standards, minus the DU armor.
