Actually there were four versions of the Maverick. A matter of fact most of the gun tgrucks that survived a crews tour(one year) and was assigned a nes crew were often rebuilt or uparmored. A lot of times the names opf the same gun tgruck was changed when a new NCOIC took charge or it was rebuilt from a battle damaged truck. An example of one truck was the Saint. It was later renamed the Red Baron. Another was the Boss which was also called the Madame Pele and back to the Boss. There were more than one gun truck with the same name. The misfits was a 2 1/2 to and also two other five tons.

loved your 5 ton tractor/trailer. If I ever get around to finishing my 10 ton, I may start a 5 ton (after my M-60 collection gets built and God knows what else in btwn)

Holy (expletive deleted) animal!!!

I am in awe of your 35th scale Transportation Battalion my man! (reaching into my 'youth' for verbage here) "Groovy stuff Maynard!" Man, between you and the Gunniemeister I'm going to be forced to finish my GunTruck project whether I can squeeze it in or not! ( I have gotten my Real Model's M-54 cab conversion in finally (second time around) but cannot find the wheels).
Thx for sharing the pics with us, they are truly enjoyable to behold!

Tread out.
