Hi folks,
Another question. What's best to use to bond resin bases to wood display bases?
Time I got a few things completed.
Thanks

hehehe Ola Alan
Another question.... same answer. PVA or woodglue. Again score the top of the base and also the bottom of the resin (if possible) With wheels it will be a bit harder then with resin groundworks and stick them together. You probably could use two part epoxy as well. But I have never used that as Woodglue did the trick for me.
And all the things I have glued to wooden bases with that stuff through the years I hold upside down without hesitation.

Alan- you could also try CA glue. Thats usually what I use and like Robert I score the wood and the resin with a scalpel before I glue the two surfaces together. Only thing about CA glue is that it won't give the same amount of time to shift the resin about. To avoid having to do this I always measure things up and lightly pencil in where I want the resin to go onto the wood, that way I just glue inside the lines and carefully set it in place.

Thanks Karl,
I know the instant bond only too well

. Always happens when you need a little time to make the fit exact

.
I'll try the PVA glue and see how it works and I have some wood glue tucked away somewhere too.
Thanks again.
