Heh guys !

Just dropped by PSM to pick a kit and guess what they have got in the making ?
Two new upgrades for Dragons M1A1 AIM kit to USMC configurations.
Designed for the Dragon kit I made some pics as they components were test-fitted to the Tamiya kit.
The first upgrade set will allow you to bring your AIM to USMC from their introduction till around 2006 standards.
1. Set:
Smoke-launchers, MCD + Plate, HA rear light + hooks, BRE, Deepwater-fording kit, TI-phone (early version), FO/AC Antennas etc.

2. Set:
A-Stan version with belly armour, Duke-antennas, LDR gun shield, TC-50 cal-camera, Blue-Force tracker, TI-phone (late version) etc.

The two kits should be out and available within the next two weeks or so.
I also got a good look at a kit of another modern tank operating in A-Stan at the moment which will be very much appreciated by some people living north of the Niagara Falls

Cheers

Out of curiosity where are PSM located?

Well it is about time. All those parts look good and two time frames too. It would be nice to have some SGL with the smoke grenades installed as long as they are going all out. FYI the turret top armor in front of the Loaders MG is not installed or in use as it blocks the Loaders vision when he is buttoned up.
Nice job PSM. Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Ah... isn't that the Tamiya kit? (unless it's been primed in yellow...)
Oh well, should work for both kits.

Hi guys !

Thought you would appreciate the good news.

Mike ,
is this what you were looking for ?

The both sets will give you the option of choosing either version of the smoke-launchers, both will be included.

Hi Shaun !

Have you tried ebay ... you can still get some from China.
Both sets were test fitted on the Tamiya M1A1 kit, the A2 kit would be even more suitable.
You could also use the REVELL kit since it does have the anti-skid surface.

Cheers
Christopher

Shaun, with a few adjustments it'll practically fit any kit out on the market. take it as being 'optimized' for the dragon M1A1 AIM but whoever built the masters propably also had some tamiya and old dragon kits in the stash

Hi Shaun

As mentioned give PSM about two weeks till they will make it official.
I don't want to speculate on prices for each kit, but I would assume that they will be within their usual price range if you compare similar PSM kits.

SEP as well? Cool. I should keep an eye peeled for that, Gino said the SEP is even better as a build than the AIM, which I think is one of the best kits I've ever built.
