I just started working on the Tilly truck. Something simple & sweet. It seems that what ever paint scheme requires mixing Tamiya paints. My question is, " does anybody make a British Dark Green G4 or a Khaki Green #3 or SCC2 & SCC1A ? Enamel or acrylic doesn't matter as I'll have to buy it anyway. I'l also be starting soon AFV's Churchill AVRE. The instructions call for "Dark Green" would the G4 green be it ? Thanks in advance ! Tom

This is always a errr 'lively' topic.
Google WEM colours in the UK, (enamels)
Haven't noticed any refs to G4 as a colour...
Google Mike Starmer for a full repriese on SCC colours, but go with the MK1 eyeball, if it looks right....

You could try the xtracrylic range from Hannants, I don't know if its in their range but they do some good stuff and the paint Ihave used is great.

Hi,
Hannants do carry Xtracrylix in Deep Bronze Green XA1814, Dark earth XA1817, Mid Bronze Green XA1815 and British Khaki drab XA1816.
You will also get some of the British colours in the Lifecolor range but I don't think anyone makes the full range.
Hope that helps
Tony

Hi Tom
You could try White Ensign Models British colour range they do a SCC.15 and KG3 as well a couple of useful others for your Tilly. Not sure about availability in The States though. https://www.whiteensignmodels.com/c/British+Army/236/1/
Mixing the Tamiya colour isn’t difficult though. I’ve just mixed my own KG3 straight from the instructions and it’s turned out pretty much spot on. It was a first for me too. The recommended mixes on the Tilly instructions are from Mike Starmer and match those in Tilly Colours so should really be beyond reproach.
Jon’s right there’s always a bit of a debate over these colours try ML and put the colour in their search engine you’ll find loads of discussion about the topic.

Hi
As said above, White Ensign do a good range of WW2 British Colours (Colors)
Also for deep bronze green, I use the one from Humbrol and Revell also do one as well.
