Friends---I just received the latest T-34/85. I have the Tamiya version along with the Tamiya T-34. I am not into Russian armor so my request is for color scheme information on a T-34/85 during the Korean War. Did the North Koreans use a specific color pattern that someone can point out to me?
thanks

In the plates I have seen, it is just plain old Russian (dark) green.

I tend to agree that the color would be the typical Russian top side green. Does anyone have a refernce or photo to confirm the color?
thanks

Their was an article in number 6 of AFV Modeller mag. I have the article but in order to read it would have to send large files unless you have ACDSEE to read this file or will be small text and not readable.
So let me know and I will send but if you have dial up will be a large download as each are 6 megs or better BMP files. a total of 8 pages (++) (++) (++) (++) (++)

I did the DML T34/85 couple of weeks ago wonderfull kit
I had the same question you had about the color.
What I did ws the following... I took Humbrol enamel green 116 and mixed a couple of drops of dessert yellow in it. This was the result De ground color for this tank was done with that mix

The 34/85 kit is the new DML one so I want to do this correctly. I am going to try your suggestion which I appreciate and publish the results. FSM this month has a great article entitled "Build a Tank Model this weekend." That is exactly what I want to do.
thanks

Well the article is a lighter green color but as some say their is no such thing as a standard green for Russian stuff. So heck go with the flow. i will put up one page at webshots to see if somebody can read it.
Later (++) (++)

well put it up but will delete before day is over so let me know.
