The built-up figures on the back of the box look pretty good. The weapons are all out of date though. M4s and the Airborne M249 would be much more current. We'll see how the actual figures are when they come out.

I agree another sought after set, some of the weapons will need replacing. Although the soldier with the M14 is a strong guy, he's holding the rifle one handed while adjusting the sight..

I am pretty sure we all posted a lot of information on this website about a few of these issues.

I believe the "strong guy" is meant to have the weapon resting on his friend's shoulder.. as shown in the pics on their site

Is the guy on the left a Pinoy? It's about time.

In looking at the box art, it does not appear that the figure is adjusting his sight, as in the photo. We still use M14s in my unit. With the proper application of the eight marksmanship fundamentals, you don't need a dude to lean your weapon on.

Hi Robert,

Having spent some time converting rounds to brass and holes in target, I do concur that this guy is indeed not applying the best 'markmanship principles'. I would think that if he did fire his 'friend' just might want to speak with him regarding the hearing loss in one ear. That is if his Sgt didn't remove his arm and beat him with the soggy end (as one of Sgts would often say - with a few extra words thrown in).

I never enjoyed firing the SLR standing, nice and long but heavy for long periods. But when prone, very accurate even with iron sights, but not as accurate as a scoped weapon -L96 was fun to shoot.

Regards

Brian

I'm disappointed about the weapons but it's a good excuse to purchase the new Live Resin weapon sets. Anyone know of any head sets that would be appropriate to use for these guys?
