I want to replicate the pic in the background of the PanzerIVJ of the 7/SS PzRgt1 in Augest44. I started on the guy in the right of the pic who is eating a good chunk of Kommisbrot.

That figure looks great. What grit of Mr. Surfacer did you use?

Hi Jerry- this is a great picture you've decided to try and make something out of. So far I think the general shape and pose of the figures is spot-on. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on this- good luck with it.

Thanks Karl,
As soon as I saw this pic I wanted to do this! Finding this website and others, after being away from tank modeling for a long time ,was wonderful. I was so tired of seeing the same old 10 photos of German armour in all of the history books. The internet has really changed all of that.

Yeah Jerry- the poses and even the folds of their clothing are now pretty much identical to the pictures- great job.

Jerry, Had to subscribe to your WIP. Awesome to see the figures "posed" and "re-uniformed". Incredible stuff.

Mobious,
Thanks for looking in bud. I am looking forward to getting the rest of these guys done but I have to be honest,I am not looking forward to building the PzIV as it has a billion parts to it. Can't be helped,I suppose! The foliage on the beastie will be daunting as well.
