Gary,
Cool deal. I've got access to my M163, my XM546 and to the FA Museum's M901, and the M1068 (M577 upgrade tracks) on post here, but that's about it. Never served on tracks (I was an Aviator) so I can't compare to the base 113, but from what I've seen yeah, there are a lot of differences.
The 1st VCT was attached directly to 5/2 Arty (Automatic weapons), so they were strictly in III and IV CTZs, although not very much in the latter. They, like the Dusters and Quads were there for convoy escort and perimeter defense rather than any true ADA role. The report seems to indicate that they performed as well or better than the Dusters they were working with.

first infantry division operated from Saigon to the Cambodian border. How far north I can't really say. War Zone II is where the really dense jungle begins as well as the hill country. Plus you have to take into thought about each units methodology. But always remember day in and day out, the bee hive was king

We've been able to correlate the alphanumeric numbers with the side numbers. The decals provided in the Academy kit are for "Duster Buster", which was track #1, the track commanded by Abner Lang and the decisive factor in CPT Harold Fritz's Medal of Honor action. Track #2 was also camouflaged and named "Duster Runner" and carried similar "Have Gun Will Travel" markings (as did a number of C/5-2 Dusters)to "Duster Buster".
As far as III Corps Tactical Zone, it extended northwest to Huoc Long, Long Khanh and Binh Tuy provinces. Northwest of that is the Central Highlands and II CTZ.
