sorry if this has been posted before, but i didn't see it. PMMS has some pics of some brit infantry, they look realy good, only one point the cocking handle on the rifle is the old style one.

I agree with the comment about the first soldier, he does look like an Angler fish. I don't like the rifle, it seems off to me. It could be the angle of the photograph but the weapon looks large. The SA80 is quite slender and this moulding looks quite deep in the body.
Both soldiers are carrying L85A1's - original SA80 and not the later L85A2. The later rifle has a different cocking lever and is commonly seen with the modified front cover flash light and accessories.
