Somewhere I have seen a method of making camo nets that (I think) used gauze and a cooking spice of some sort. What is the recipe to do this? I am looking to put these in the stowage bins of the Challenger I that I am finishing up here and would appreciate some guidance.

You're on the right track. Get a gauze sponge or some cheesecloth and soak it in a 50/50 mixture of white glue and water. Lay this out flat on a board coated with plastic film or a similar non stick surface. While the cloth is still wet, press on some dried herbs. I find that basil or oregano work well. Once the whole works is dry, you can airbrush it the desired colours.
