i just bought this kit today and i want to upgrade it with some after market pieces but i only want to get a JR barrel. i was looking on hometown-hobbies.com and there is a nashorn barrel. they should be the same right? i mena the hornisse was an early nashron. so would they be the same or not? thanks ahead fellas

The barrel you want is Jordi Rubio TG-19. If that's the one - go ahead an get it.

Lion roar makes a nice Barrel for the Hornisse. It comes in 2 peices has a nice muzzle break and some PE to detail the things that JR left off the kit. As a bonus they also give you Resin cover for the barrel. All in all a good deal for 10usd. also Gum Ka has a PE set that looks good and isn't over the top. It just has details that should have been in the kit. The only other thing that needs to be added after those 2 sets in a MG34 from the spares boxs, as SPG's were issued one for defense from infantry. HTH STUG

steve, could you by any chance give me the websites to check those items out. i haven't bought the JR yet. now that i heard waht you had to say thought i'd check it out before i bought one. thanks
