Hi. I agree, I would like to see Dragon, or somebody, do some re-releases of all the old Dragon kits. They had some really nice ones. Esp. the E-100 and Maus. Love to have both of these to build. Am looking forward to the artillery spotter Panther for sure.
Thanks and take care, sgirty

Howdy 'Zod,
Thx for the heads up on the re-release's. Question, actually, two questions; Was the DML M-46 Patton the version with 3 return rollers? I know Italeri makes the M-47 with 3. Also (this to TUNA), was the DML Sherman any/that much better moulded than the Italeri version?
Since I'm not much of a fan of Italeri plastic (the actual plastic itself) this would goods news if they did re-release that. :-)

Hi Tread,
I have not seen the Italeri kit.. it is still available though.. so if you want an m4a1 76.. you can go for that kit (would probably get some AM tracks and a Barrel)...
I have seen the DML kit.. and that looks really nice (box is packed with plastic).... But.. since it's oop.. you see it going for the high 40's on ebay... Too high for me...
What I did instead was picked up the Tank Work Shop M4A1 Hull to go on the Tamiya M4 kit... So... In reality.. I'm all set for a Future M4A1 Project.. but if DML ever re-released that kit.. I'd probably pick one up too...

Tread,----- not sure if this helps, but I built the Dragon M-46 Patton a couple years ago (Kit 6805). It's identified as their 1/35th Korean War Series, and it has 5 track return rollers.

Ugggh!
Why not the M4A1? Why all the German stuff?
Yeah, the Jagdpanther and Stug are great vehicles, but why not that Sherman? They must know it's a kit in high demand.

Because it IS German. They think that ANYTHING German will sell better than ANYTHING Allied. Maybe they're right but I REALLY hate seeing this. Who won the war anyway?

Actually the DLM M4A1 that everyone is going on about is an earlier version (75mm, small hatched) that the Italeri kit (76mm, large hull hatches). Although the DLM kit figures highly among modellers wish lists, I've read on other boards that the kit is not without its faults, hull hatches too small being one of them.

Yes it would be nice if they would re-release the M4A1 as well as the jagdpanzer series When the Shanghai division first started years back,DML was supposed to transfer their older kit molds over there The kit prices were cut by at least $10 U.S. I had gotten the late panther G with the IR device for 19.99 U.S. But it seemed the move never really took place
They did or maybe still make some kits at the Shanghai branch but not a lot What a shame DML had some really great kits out there

Yeah, but I'd still like one over the Italeri kit. It's much nicer than that.
Don't get me wrong, I like German vehicles too. Problem is, the choices seem more limited with Allied stuff. We are really in need of good Shermans. Tamiya should do an all new one. Their old ones just aren't that great in many aspects.
