Hi guys, I know this question has probably been asked thousands of times, but I'm relatively knew to this on models, but I'd like to know which company offers the best range of weathering powders/pigments..
I know there are companies like MiG and AK but, what are the alternative companies around...
Thanks.

Hi Paul,
Vallejo also have a range of pigments, I haven't tried any of them myself to date yet though.
Theres a range of 16 different colours in 30ml bottles and retail for around NZD$6.50 which is quite reasonable as things like this usually cost us quite a bit here in New Zealand. Here a link: http://www.acrylicosvallejo.com/gb/pigments-gb.html
Hope this helps.

IMHO Doc O'Brien's. You can get a 12 color set for about $17. I believe you get three ounces of each pigment. These range from soot to dirt to rust. Much cheaper that MIG or AK. And, I have not tried the Vallejo to compare. But, I've had no problems with O'Brien's pigments.

Bragdon Enterprises is the original pigment inventor, very good value and very good product. I use them all the time. http://www.bragdonent.com/smpic/item6.htm
I also use Vallejo pigments, also an excellent product and an excellent value.
You can find them on http://www.ebay.co.uk

Tom,
Bragdon Enterprises entered the model scenery business in 1979 and introduced their weathering pigments in 1982! Decades before Mig Productions existed. They are still a very active company and still make a great product. Bragdon also gives you a huge amount of pigment for a low price.
