Well going to try Tamiya paints on next model before that start to dry up.
So any hints as to pressure thinner will be theirs thank you ,no winshield wiper fluid or water.
air brush is single action HV series.
I do like MM paints but after the way you can apply a wash to acrylics without the need for a dull coat to seal the finish I am convinced that Acrylics are the way. But my Polly Scale allways gums up after about 2 minutes of painting. tried the soap trick still gums use a water trap so don't know what it is but back to question any hints would be appreciated

I thin Tamiya about 1:1 and spray between 20-25 psi. Nothing special just thin and spray.

Two words: Use enamels.
Don't slather your washes on, but apply them surgicallly where you need added dept and you won't need tha extra layer odf gloss. Just let the paint dry a bit longer.
