Which challenger 2 kit is good and cheap. Is the early trumpeter chan elver 2 op Telic any good?

Good and relatively accurate, yes. Easy to build, no.

I haven't built it myself and I can't comment on its accuracy (or lack thereof), but I think I'm right in saying that the Trumpeter Chally 2 is one of their older efforts, in which case it's probably moulded in that strange softish plastic of theirs that's an absolute swine to cut and sand.

The Trumpeter Op Telic kit is good for the price. I actually prefer it to the Tamiya version as it has better detailed suspension and all the parts required to make a regular Chally 2 in the box. The turret bins on earlier kits were a problem but these were resolved quite quickly. The plastic is fine as well. I've made 5 of them and been very happy with the results
