Hey chaps, anyone know of a set of resin wheels for this monster...? The kit tires are ok, but a beast this size needs to have some saggy tires for sure.
Cheers,

They don't really look sagged, though... do they? Not sure who else makes a set for it.

Not in the kit photos, no, but the real thing at the weight it carries would have SOME flattening of the tires for sure...maybe..???

Are you sure the wheels on the real thing have a sag in them? Here are some pics which don't show any real sag.. Maybe that's why Voyager didn't make them with a sag, like they did with other wheel sets. I don't really know. Maybe on of the experts could chime in...

hi
having seen one close up in service. i can say that the tyres are hard and don't sag .
like a lot of modern AFVs and other wheeled vehicles including tank transporters are so hard that some bounce as they go along the road.
i have seen this when i been on road tests.
hope it helps

OK guys, I think I know whats goin on here. What I really meant was "flat spot", not sagged. The kit tires are vinyl so pretty hard to file 'em flat. I love the pics posted, great info for the build. Thanks all for helping, and if there are any other suggestions for tires or any OTHER tid-bits to help the build, please feel free...!
Cheers all

I'm not particularly familiar with the Boxer, but I suspect that like many other wheeled AFVs it has a central tire pressure management system allowing the pressures to be selected for varying terrain. Perhaps the reason we haven't seen any sagging is that most pics to date show the vehicle with higher road pressures selected?

I'd wait for the Revell kit which will be a production vehicle which looks far better IMHO with its extra stowage etc.
