I know, mine was supposed to be dispatched on the 12 sept but I'm still waiting - guess that's the problem of living on this side of the world. Patience, patience...

woo hoo! i just got mine in the mail yesterday. It's similar to the Steve Zaloga Osprey book in format - hard cover, ring bound. I quite enjoyed that one and haven't really finished it.
I had a quick flip through Alex's book and my initial thoughts are:
The photos are of excellent quality.
There's extensive text covering a wide range of topics related to modeling in braille.
The section on resin casting looks quite interesting.
The only downside to me is that I wish there was more new examples of his works or the inclusion of other examples of small scale models from other artists. I guess I've been spoiled by the extensive selection of models in the prolific Steve Z's book.
In conclusion, I can't wait to delve into the text and study the book more closely. It's a must have and definitely a good book to help fill the small scale modelers library but I can't help but feel that a better small scale modeler's book is yet to be written.
