I wonder if anyone call tell me what the warning placards seems on Humvees in Iraq and A-stan mounted on? Im talking about the 'warning, stay back' signs. Is it plywood or something else?

some appear to be less stiff than plywood :
Maybe this kind of material is used :
Those I use at work are about 4mm thick...
