Hello:
This is my KV-8 flamethrower. It was made time ago from Trumpeter KV-1 Model 1942 Simplified turret model so come with the option for build it and not used the forthcoming KV-8 so both are in fact the same model with different decals.
Also I used also Model Point turned barrel, Friulmodel tracks and some Aber photoetched parts.

Always wanted to do a flamethrower. This build solidifies my resolve. IMHO it turned out excellent! You may want to touch up the figure as your skills improve. What color did you use for 4BO? It looks a lot like MM medium green.

Very nice work Cristobal, the figure looks great and the workmanship is fantastic. Please forgive my ignorance, but what is that object in pic number 7 the tank comander is resting his hand on? A light of some sort?

Hello:
Thanks for all reply.
Matt: The colour I used a mix of Humbrol 116 US Dark Green and 150 Forest green. The model colour perhaps is too “live” on the photos with blue background and is closer to the real model color on the photos with the white background.
Brandom: I wished to put a commander giving indications of stop with the rigth hand to other tanks.
Hi Remco, I wait your message.
Thanks again. Cristobal Vergara.

Really nice work, Cristobal! I have numerous photographs of this vehicle and you've gotten every detail right. Superb.
Brandon, the commander's left hand is resting on a P40 anti-aircraft machine gun mount for a 7.62mm DT machine gun. '43' was fitted with such a mount.

Interesting, thanks Neil, I was unaware any KV's were equipped with AA guns.
