Well, first off, let me just say how great this site is! So many great people and info! I used to only do airplanes, but I think I am being quickly converted.....
Anyway, I just went to Nordiccon this weekend, and came back humbled and poorer , But I came back with aTamiya KV-1 C, and the tracks are terrible. I tried to find some individual links on the net - I saw them used on another model, so I know they exist - but I have hit the wall. So I thought I'd ask the experts. Does anybody know where I could get a set of modelkasten tracks for my KV-1? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks alot!! :-)

dsmith, Welcome to the best modelling site on the internet. I found Fruilmodel tracks over at Great Models. I think they may be what you are after but I am by no means an expert on Russian armor.

Their webstore is at the link below. The tracks pictured are kit number ATL-10.

Howdy dsmith,

Glad to have you amongst us modeling maniac's! Enjoy yourtime here. :-)

As to the track's, listen to keenan, you can't beat the Fruil's. I'm putting a set on my Tammy T-55...wouldn't do it any other way.

Tread out.

Those Fruil tracks for the KV are awesome. I picked up a set for the Eastern Express KV-8S I won in a contest raffle, so considering that the kit was free, I didn't mind paying $30 for tracks.

These metal tracks will look great when they are done -- plus the kit includes new drive sprockets.
