Hello,

I recently acquired Trumpeter's #380 PT-76 kit. Looking at the two-halves barrel, I decided a metal barrel replacement would be a sound investment, considering the barrel's peculiar configuration.

To my surprise, it seems not too many barrels manufacturers have addressed this. Actually, from my searches, there's only one (D-56TS) from Modelpoint for the Eastern Express kit.

Two questions:

1) Are you aware of any D-56DT (or TS) 76.2mm aftermarket barrel?

2) Do you know where one can buy ModelPoint barrels?

Thanks for any and all help you may provide.

Howdy JV,

The MP barrel is the only game in town as far as I know. I placed an order for a couple of MP items at soga-miniatures.com. They are a Russian company that stock a lot of stuff an card/PP can be used. My order should be on its way now and I'll post here as soon as I get it. I assume others might be interested in a good supplier of MP stuff as well.

Cheers,
/E
