Folks, below is a link with a picture of a device I can not identify. I believe this is an anti-IED device and I have seen it on Strykers in afghanistan, M-ATV's and some M-1151's. I have not been able to find the name of this device however and I need that so I can google it to get more pictures (better details, etc.) of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The anti-IED devices that are on poles on the front of armored veicles are called a "Rhino device". Not sure how well one would work right on the side of the vehicle. Also, most of the Rhinos I've seen are closer to a square shape, as opposed to this device's rectangle (though actual length vs width may not matter).

It is an anti-IED device, however, I can't remember the name either. It is not a Rhino and it works differently than the Rhino. That is all that needs to be said in an open forum about it.
Here is a working pic of it.

Thanks for attaching the picture Gino and for confirming my assumption that it was an anti-IED antenna...............now to simply find the name

Here you can see markings similar to those that can be found on the DUKE tubular antenna :

Bill, can you take the actual ranges out of your post? OPSEC my friend. Just leave it at, "It extends the range." No need to list actual capabilities of a current C-IED system.
