I am about to attempt my first winter camo on my Panzer IV, and I was going to try the "hairspray" technique. Is any brand or type of hairspray better then others??

I have always heard the cheaper the better. You don't need anything special. I picked up my spray can at Walmart.

Yep, just what Michael said. If you can pick it up at the dollar store, all the better.

Any hair spray will do- here's a video showing Michael Rinaldi demonstrating the technique

Hi,
I have a question in relation to hairspraying. I want to try the hairspray technique but might not get enough time to spray the second colour on top of the hairspray and then attack it with a brush to end up with the chipped/scuffed effect. Can the chipping/scuffing be done days afterwards or does it need to be done as soon as the second colour is dried?
Thanks
Toby

My understanding is that it has to be done quite soon and that the longer you leave the harder it is to get the effect. Set aside enough time and do as Mike Rinaldi does in the video Use a Hairdryer.
Or just do a section at a time
