Hi there,
My current project is Miniart's kit BA-64 with crew.
The well known boxart of the kit :
This photo shows a heavily worn whitewash camouflage, exactly what I have planned to do :
Let's start with the build :
Interior painting :
The body glued together :
A dry fit :
Detailing of the turret (no episcopes in the kit, no grab handles) :
* tie downs were cleaned up a bit using laquer thinner.
Best regards.

BA-64.

Probably you're the last too...
I'm going to try a whitewash over a Russian green base color, in modulation style just for the fun of it. The build was a real pleasure to do, everything fits together perfect, only con is the kit has not enough detail. For example there are no episcopes for the turret, no grab handles for the commander/gunner...do a bit of simple scratchbuilding was necessary to obtain a moreless accurate Bad Ass 64.

I'll go for a hairspray whitewash but I hope to make it look more attractive with oil paint stages. I gave the whole model a coat of Tamiya Clear.

Thank you. Here's another update.
I've whitewashed the body.
Close ups of two panels :
Then I've added whitewash collected around bolts, grab handles, weld seams...

I'm still figuring that out Pit.
This is the model so far, currently I'm adding light paint damage, and I'm finishing the wheels...
Enjoy o mighty hordes of BA 64B enthousiasts!

nice one G
like the little rust details, and the white parts around the visor/gunopenings, are gone too, you're creating great depth.
