Hi All
I've just finished Hobbyboss's Landrover WMIK as an Irish Army WMIK in Liberia with UNMIL, the figures are a mix bag from the spares box with the Steyrs coming from Mouse Productions in Australia, groundwork, vehicles and figures were weathered with Mig Pigments.
The scene depicts an Irish Army Patrol having discovered a hiddens weapons cache as per the Irish Battalions Mandate during its time in Liberia.
Pics as follows;
Enjoy
Alan.

Just great! I think this diorama works on every level; it not only showcases your skills but it also portrays an interesting scene and an accurate historical context. Awesome work.

Alan- some fantastic work here. I was wondering after seeing the WMIK release whether anyone would finish it as an Irish vehicle- great to finally see one! I think you've got the scene finished well too- it tells the story and doesn't detract from the centrepiece- the landy. How were the Steyr's from Mouse?

Hi Karl, thanks for the good words! appreciate it, you too Simon cheers mate, the steyr's weren't bad, this was my second lot I had purchased from Mouse, a few minor things some of the Magazines were shorter than others and the Sight on one stood taller than the rest but overall there not bad, and they come with a few accessories/options ie; different Sights and a Grenade launcher attachment - so overall quite good for 6 Steytrs for €12.00 incl P&P from down under, delivery time was about 10 working days.
