Hi everyone!

This is the Swedish version of the Centurion tank.

The kit is from Cromwell Models and the quality is just wonderful...

Hope you like it!!!

With the apparent quality of that little kit combined with your modelling skills, all I can say is wow! Thanks for placing the Vallejo paint in the background on the last photo, I was still doing doubletakes to make sure it really said 1/72 until I saw that. This is justification enough for anyone interested to buy one I'm sure

Hey there, Sven... it's been a while since you posted anything here.. and this is a truly great comeback! Nice to see you do something modern. Do you have plans to add any figures, or is it done like this?

Sven-Åke,

Once again, you have created an exquisite jewel that fools the eye (and the brain) into believing the model is far larger than it really is.

The paint and weathering are superb! I imagine you had a wonderful time masking the camo pattern.

Do you have any in-progress shots so we can see how the Cromwell Models kit looks?

Your rest is well deserved, sir.

@mgdsign – Sven-Åke,

Good to know you are well and happy to see your work here again. You’ve done a beautiful job with the camouflage scheme. The camouflage, weathering and groundwork all compliment each other and all of it to scale. It is so well detailed that it actually looks like a larger scale build. Will you be adding any figures to this build?

Thanks for posting and sharing another one of your mini masterpieces.

Happy modeling,
-Eddy

Thanks! I have learned that putting an object of known size next to my models really hightens the viewers experience... Very happy you like it!!!

Even more impressive! The paint finish appears to be quite even and smooth, belying application by a brush stoke. Please don't tell me you applied the dust and weathering by paintbrush, too?!?!?

Hi again!

I have added a couple of figures too. They are from Preiser and are slightly converted to look a bit more like sedish tankers...

Cheers

Hej Sven,

that Stridsvagn is excellent!!! The swedish splinter camo is already a real eye catcher in original and you did an outstanding job by scaling it down !

Thank You Very Much Sebastian!!!

Yes, that splinter camo is pretty cool and it took me many days to build up enough courage to start the painting process... I think it will take a while before I try something like this again, need to rest my nerves for a while

Cheers

It's amazing how much life two superbly painted figures can add to an otherwise.... well, superbly built and painted tank

I wish they would add a "Thumbs up" emoticon... so I could give you ten
