Hey Guys,
I've been reading an article about filters but some things aren't really clear to me. I've made this 1943 Canadian Sherman Wich I've painted with XF 13 JA Green. But I've been doing the job with artificial light wich made it look lighter to me then it does now in normal light. I've understood that a filter would be able to make the color lighter?
Has any one some good thoughts or tips about it.

If your base color isn't too dark, I would opt to use a filter/wash of a lighter shade brushed on exposed surfaces to the sun for a fading effect. Works really well. Also don't try to keep the wash perfectly even but more of a blotchy effect.
I apply washes over a gloss surface to protect the base color.
