Its late and I need some advise rather than searching all over hell's hafacre...! I was told that I should use Turpenoid to mix with dry pigments for a dried mud look to my AFVs and tanks? I haven't tried this stuff, but its supposed to dry quicker than mineral spirits or Turpentine.
Can anyone shed some light on what is the better technique for a good dusty look after "whatever" medium of carrier is used...?
Thanks all

here is some advice from a previously asked question.

Seems Turpenoid is simply a more refined verision of turps that looks to be more suited to modelling rather than house painting.

Hi Laurie,
I use Woodland Scenics "Scenic Cement" as a carrier / fixer for dried pigment "mud and earth." It dries dead flat and is relatively inexpensive. It also has a bunch of other uses on the work bench, so that adds to the economy of use factor.
