Hi,
ATAK do 2 resin sets for the Tamiya kit, the old set 35005 and a more recent set 35046.
The more recent set, 35046, has the larger more common zim pattern for the turret.

As for the zimm try this link http://cavaliermodels.com/Zimmerit.html and tamiya themselves make a nice set of screens for the rear deck. I hav used both products and can recomend them, cheers Bob.

The Cavalier Zim is far cheaper than the Atak, but the Atak sets tend to be somewhat more complete. I don't know if they're worth 2x the price of the Cavaliers, but they're also more likely to be in-stock with retailers IMO.

Hi Bill,
I hear what you're saying, but "twice the price" seems a little exaggerated.
ATAK's own site price is 70.80PLN which is $21USD
and Cavaliers site price is $19.95 which is $19.40USD.
I suppose it depends where you are in the world and where you buy from.
For example Jim, who posted, could get the ATAK set in his homeland from Airconnection, but would pay a steep price, $37CAD.
Whereas you can buy the same set in the US for $22USD.
As for myself, I bought ATAK sets from Germany which work out the same price as buying Cavalier from HongKong.

Grant.
