Last month when I voted for the UoM I got a message saying I had already voted. Being of advanced years and inclined to forget what I have just done I assumed the clever machine was a step ahead of me and I had in fact already voted.
However today I am making one of my rare visits to the site and, spotting that it is voting time decided to do the decent thing. Again I got a message saying I have already voted.
I MOST DEFINITELY HAVE NOT!
I am not a happy Kiwi!

The only reason this would happen is if you are sharing an IP address with someone else in your area (or on your Internet Service provider). People who work for the same employer for example are likely on the same IP address.
Unfortunately there is not much I can do about this at the moment as the system we have in place is the best one I can get working. All voting check systems have their ups and downs. This is one of the downs.
Can you try from another computer (at work or at home)?
Thanks,
Jim

Great theory Jim but I only access Armorama from my one and only home iMac. I am sure my wife is not sneaking into the site when I am not looking and voting for UoM.

Let me do some checking but I am 99% certain I cleared the IP data file before starting this months voting. Do you know what your IP address is?
The other possiblity (as most users don't have permanent IP addresses is that someone else voted with it and then your ISP re-set that address to you. But that would seem to be a 100-to-1 shot.
Thanks,
Jim
