I am completely new to using snow in dioramas. I have seen several threads on snow, but am totally lost. What do you use for snow? How do you apply it? I'm trying to do a captured winter camo Hornisse and need to know the basics.

Hi Matt, try this. The result is very good.

This site is specific to HO scale (1:87), but in it you find things that are useful for the 1:35 scale, such as static grass, field grass, snow, foliage, trees. It should even have tips on how to apply.
And the price is relatively low, considering what is in your country (Missouri).
Good luck!

Some household products will yellow over time, be careful which you use. I use WS Snow so I don't have to worry about it.
one tip is to build up the banks and ground work with putty/spackle/foam then paint and use the snow product as texture on top. Trying to build up a snow bank with glue and snow is SLOW and difficult.
